One of the biggest misconceptions I see is believing that a birth plan is what makes your birth more likely to unfold the way you hope.
It isn’t.
A birth plan is an important tool. It helps you understand your options, clarify your wishes, and communicate them.
But the real foundation of your birth experience is often laid much earlier.
When you choose a caregiver whose philosophy already aligns with yours.
A birth plan should open a conversation—not start a negotiation.
Because the strongest birth plan isn’t the one written on paper.
It’s the one supported by the people standing beside you.
🤍 Choose your caregiver as carefully as you choose your birth plan.
