Congratulations to Lacey Morrow on 18 years of devoted service to Hatley Health Care Inc. Lacey serves as a Social Services Assistant for our residents on D wing. Lacey shows up each day, never knowing what she will face, but she addresses each issue/concern with compassion and grace. She is the biggest advocate for our residents and attends to their every need. Thanks for all that you do, Lacey. We love you. ❤️

March was Social Services Appreciation Month!!!!

Hatley Health Care and Rehabilitation is proud to say that we have the best Social Services team around. Amy has been the Social Services Director for over 30 years, and Lacey has been a Social Services Assistant for 17 years. These ladies never know what they will walk into each day at work, but they handle every care and concern with poise and compassion. They serve as our residents' biggest advocates. It is true that a person must have a heart for long-term care, and these two definitely meet that criteria. Thank you, Amy and Lacey, for all that you do for our residents at Hatley Health Care and Rehab. We love you ❤️

Hatley Health Care and Rehabilitation is so appreciative of the many community churches and businesses that shower our residents with love. Lomax Assembly recently helped organize an Easter egg hunt for our residents. The weather was beautiful, and the residents thoroughly enjoyed spending time in fellowship with the volunteers. Thank you, Lomax, for giving your time, talent, and treasure to our sweet residents at Hatley Health Care and Rehab.

Some of the men at Hatley Health Care and Rehabilitation enjoyed an afternoon of dominoes and non alcoholic beverages. They enjoyed the comraderie and being able to hang out with "just the guys." Men's socials are scheduled on a monthly basis.

Denise Horton has been employed by Hatley Health Care and Rehabilitation for the last 21 years. Denise is currently the Director of Nursing, however, she has held many titles while employed at Hatley Health Care. Denise began working at Hatley's as a Certified Nursing Assistant while going through nursing school. She has also been the Assistant Director of Nursing and the Abuse Coordintor. Denise is known for her caring and compassionate nature and excels in providing the highest level of care to the residents at Hatley Health Care. EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: ELAINE GOLSON

Elaine has been with Hatley Health Care and Rehabilitation for 18 years. She is the nurse supervisor on Hatley's dementia care unit. Elaine worked as a CNA at Hatley's before going on and completing her licensure as a nurse. Even though Elaine also worked in the home health field for a little while, she said, "I just have a heart for the residents on the dementia care unit." Elaine is soft-spoken, patient, and very compassionate to the needs of our residents. Hatley Health Care is truly blessed to have Elaine providing the highest quality of care to our residents each day. Thank you for all that you do Elaine. We love you! ❤️

The residents at Hatley Health Care and Rehab were blessed recently by the Maplesville Prayer Pillow Ministry. Mrs. Yvonne Mitchell began the prayer pillow ministry in 2019, when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She said this ministry was laid on her heart to bless others who are sick or in need in the community. She and her volunteers assemble these pillow and pray over each one before blessing others with them. Hatley's residents were so appreciative of the love and thoughtfulness shown by Mrs. Mitchell and the Prayer Pillow team. Thank you, Maplesville Prayer Pillow team, for extending such love and kindness to our residents.
