Independence Day shouldn’t come with a side of silence.

We meet people every week who want the same freedom everyone does—safer healthcare, steadier wellbeing, and the ability to talk about HIV without fear. Stigma steals that freedom. What we do restores it: supportive services, holistic care, and community where you can breathe.

If you’re in Southern California and looking for health support that treats you like a whole person, we’re here.

Stigma doesn’t take a day off—so neither do we.

This , we’re reminding our community in Southern California: freedom includes your health, your privacy, and the right to care without judgment. Whether you’re living with HIV or you’re supporting someone you love, you deserve support that protects your peace.

At Foothill AIDS Project, we provide comprehensive, holistic services—physical health, mental health, and community support—so you can focus on living, not explaining.

“I can’t tell anyone.”

We hear it from too many people living with HIV—fear of judgment, worry about being treated differently, and that heavy feeling of not being able to just be a whole person.

This Independence Day, we’re choosing health freedom for PLWH. That means support that’s confidential, respectful, and centered on what helps you stay well—physically and mentally.

If stigma has been weighing on you or someone you love, you don’t have to carry it alone.

Freedom isn’t just fireworks—it’s being able to choose care without fear.

This Independence Day, we’re thinking about “health freedom” for people living with HIV (PLWH): freedom from stigma, freedom to ask questions, freedom to stay connected to appointments, support, and treatment.

If you’ve been holding back—because of judgment, misinformation, or a fear of being seen—our team is here to help you find support that feels respectful and steady.

Freedom should never come with a side of fear.

On Independence Day, we’re reminded that people living with HIV deserve the same things as everyone else: dignity, safety, and access to care—without stigma getting in the way.

At Foothill AIDS Project, we build support around the whole person: physical health, mental well-being, and community connection. When you’re ready, we’ll meet you with care that helps you move forward on your terms.

Your meds on time—like a daily promise? If you miss one, your body feels it.

We see it often: plans change, refills run late, stress stacks up, and suddenly “tomorrow” becomes “I forgot.” The good news is small supports can make a big difference for PLWH.

Try this: set a phone alarm with your medication name, refill before you’re low, and pair taking meds with a routine you already do (breakfast, brushing teeth, or bedtime).

If you’re navigating gaps, side effects, or cost barriers, we’ll help you find practical next steps.

A flu shot turned into a real conversation for one of our clients—because her doctor asked about her full prevention plan, not just her HIV meds.

For people living with HIV, vaccines and routine preventive care help protect against infections that can hit harder with age and immune health. We help connect clients with education, appointments, and support so questions don’t get pushed aside.

If you’re not sure which vaccines you might need, you’re not alone. We can share resources and help you plan for the next conversation with your healthcare team.

Purple and gold don’t just look good—they stand for care that reaches people where they are.

We serve the San Gabriel Valley, San Bernardino County, and Western Riverside County with support for individuals living with HIV/AIDS since 1987. This August, we’re sharing practical, stigma-free reminders—because preventive care, medication consistency, and community support save lives.

A missed shot can turn into a month of “I’ll do it later”… and for people living with HIV, “later” matters.

This August, we’re celebrating National Immunization Awareness Month—because staying up to date on vaccines is part of preventive care that supports long-term health.

At Foothill AIDS Project, we help San Gabriel Valley, San Bernardino County, and Western Riverside County community members—especially PLWH and older adults—track what they need, talk through concerns, and connect to care.
