Thank you to our resident’s, families, and staff for making Philanthropy Week one to remember. Together, we celebrated community, friendship, and the power of giving back. We wrapped up an amazing week with our Circle of Friends Gala Dinner, a truly special celebration of the incredible spirit of giving that makes our community so extraordinary.

With summer just coming to an end. What could be better than celebrating with a luau in Summerhouse.Our Polynesian dancers were wonderful with all the costume changes, comedy and fun facts  about Hawaii in between. There’s nothing  better than getting together with friends and family, sharing a great meal and enjoying some great entertainment. Happy Friday. Aloha. .

Happy birthday Peggy! 102, what a milestone. She wrote her own autobiography. She was also a teacher and taught students in China for several years and around the world.
We celebrated with friends and family.  Everyone showed up to celebrate this amazing woman.
Thank you to Mayor Jennifer Stark for presenting Peggy with a special certificate of recognition. .

There’s nothing better on a hot summer day than a nice cool banana split. Today our residents enjoyed banana splits made to order.
As you can see by those big smiles, they enjoyed every bite. .

Today in Summerhouse we had a visit from from pet prescription therapy dogs that come and bring their well trained dogs to our community once a month.
Then we were treated to a performance by rising star, which is another volunteer group who come and put on a beautiful performance with their singing and dancing and costume changes. We appreciate our volunteers who come out and visit our community to bring a little joy and happiness to others. .
