Job Title: Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – CNA Instructor
Position Type: Part-Time (Two Weeks Per Month)
Job Summary:�We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Instructor. This part-time position involves teaching CNA classes for two weeks each month, preparing students for successful careers in healthcare through classroom instruction, hands-on skills training, and clinical supervision.
Responsibilities:
• Teach CNA curriculum in accordance with state and program requirements.
• Provide engaging classroom instruction and hands-on skills demonstrations.
• Supervise students during clinical training.
• Evaluate student performance and maintain accurate attendance and academic records.
• Prepare students for the state CNA certification exam.
• Foster a positive, supportive, and professional learning environment.
• Ensure compliance with all state regulations and facility policies.
Qualifications:
• Current, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience (long-term care experience preferred).
• Previous teaching or training experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for educating and mentoring future healthcare professionals.
Schedule:
• Part-time
• Teaching commitment of two weeks per month
• Flexible schedule based on class sessions
