Connecting with the County Board, supporting local businesses to make sustainability a part of their culture, and supporting each other to drive change and improve our greater community, together, is how we all can continue to make a difference every day.

July 23 from 4:30pm to 7pm at Tierra Distilling in Clarendon Hills, Choose DuPage IL is holding a Chicago Climate Week Business Panel & Social featuring business leaders who are leading the charge in environmental stewardship and sustainable economic growth! Our community is excited to support this initiative and panel towards sustainability.

Join DuPage County and Sustainable DuPage at Tierra Distilling on July 23 for an evening dedicated to celebrating sustainable, local businesses. “Learn firsthand how they are turning green initiatives into thriving business models. A day at the symphony is music to the soul!

Our members enjoyed a special summer outing to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, where they experienced world-class music along with the excitement of taking in the sights and energy of downtown Chicago along the way!

Music has a remarkable way of lifting our spirits, awakening cherished memories, reducing stress, and bringing people together. Paired with the adventure of exploring our beautiful city, it's a wonderful reminder that meaningful experiences and lifelong learning never stop.

Creativity was shining bright as our residents enjoyed creating beautiful DIY sun catchers! Activities like these do more than spark joy — they support fine motor skills, encourage self-expression, and help strengthen the connection between the brain and hands through meaningful, hands-on engagement to create something beautiful for their home! Inspired by Montessori-based approaches, residents were able to explore creativity at their own pace while enjoying conversation, focus, and learning something new!
