Creativity was shining bright as our residents enjoyed creating beautiful DIY sun catchers! Activities like these do more than spark joy — they support fine motor skills, encourage self-expression, and help strengthen the connection between the brain and hands through meaningful, hands-on engagement to create something beautiful for their home! Inspired by Montessori-based approaches, residents were able to explore creativity at their own pace while enjoying conversation, focus, and learning something new!

At our community, the power of choice matters. ❤️ Our Members help decide the outings and experiences featured on the calendar, making each adventure meaningful and personalized to what they enjoy most! A visit to local favorite Sawa's Old Warsaw Restaurant for delicious home cooking and great conversation will ALWAYS be at the top of the list! Sharing meals, laughter, and favorite traditions together is what community is all about!

There’s nothing better than a beautiful day, sunshine, fresh air, and a picnic in the park with friends!

Spending time in nature can help boost mood, reduce stress, encourage movement, and support overall well-being. If you have a loved one living with dementia, engaging in community-based experiences and social connection can help increase positive feelings, stimulate the senses, and encourage moments of joy and purpose! Our members choose where they'd love to go and what they love to do! Of course, they only wanted a picnic lunch created by our talented culinary team to enjoy! Sharing laughter, conversation, and simple outdoor moments together is one of the many ways community living helps residents live well each day!

If we were allowed to have lighters in the building during our Memorial Day concert, to set the mood and honor those we miss, we would have! To all those who have served and are serving along with their beloved families, this one is for you!
