If your kid has had more ear infections than you can count, keep reading. Recurring ear infections are often tied to how fluid drains through the ear canal, and that drainage can be affected by tension in the upper neck. When that area is restricted, drainage slows down and infections start to cycle. One clears up, another starts, and you end up feeling like you live at the pediatrician’s office.
Chiropractic care does not treat the infection directly. But by easing tension in the neck and supporting the nervous system, a lot of families see a real decrease in how often infections happen. That is because a regulated nervous system does what it was designed to do: rest, digest, grow, heal, and develop, including keeping that ear canal draining the way it should.
If you feel like you are constantly back at the pediatrician for the same thing, it might be time to look at what is going on underneath. You are not imagining it, and there may be more you can do than you think.
