Ronnie Allen Heasley, born May 8, 1957, in Los Angeles County, California, passed away on August 17, 2026.

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, August 21, 2026 in Hillcrest Cemetery in McLean with Rev. Thacker Haynes officiating.

Ronnie attended school in McLean, Texas, and graduated from McLean High School in 1975. His favorite subject in school was always sports. That love of sports continued throughout his life. He played softball as an adult and was an avid golfer. If Ronnie had free time, there was a good chance you could find him on the golf course, where he spent countless hours enjoying one of his favorite pastimes.

Ronnie loved to tease and pick on the people around him, and those who knew him will remember his sense of humor and playful personality.

Ronnie spent his career in the oil and gas industry and eventually started his own business, H& H Compression Services.

In 2013, Ronnie retired to Lake Brownwood, where he hoped to spend more time enjoying another favorite pastime, fishing. As his multiple sclerosis progressed, he wasn't able to fish as often as he would have liked, but the lake remained the place he chose to call home in retirement.

Ronnie is survived by his three children, William Heasley of Crane, Texas; Truitt O'Neal of Paris, Texas; and Angel Gandy and her fiancé, Miles, of McCamey, Texas. He is also survived by three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Johnathan Charlie “JC” McAnear was born on July 25, 1937. The Lord called him home on August 14, 2026.

JC was the fourth child born to Earl and Maggie (Jowers) McAnear in Jack County. The family later moved to Roscoe, TX. When he was a freshman in high school, the family again made a move to Champion, TX, and he attended Highland High School where graduated in 1955. He found his great love of sports there, playing basketball and baseball. He attended Texas Tech for a year before starting his career with El Paso Natural Gas Company. This job brought him to Shamrock, TX where he met his first wife, Mellie Woods. They were married for 20 years when she succumbed to cancer. The Lord was looking over him when he found his second greatest love, Linda Grimsley Ridgway In McLean, TX. They brought together two families and created one.

JC made his life in McLean, TX for over 50 years. After retiring from El Paso, he began raising cattle, which was his true vocation. He and Linda also ran a Germania Insurance office. He was a member of the Church of Christ in McLean. He loved the Lord and lived a life that proved it.

JC was preceded in death by his parents; both wives; a brother, Dewey McAnear; sisters, Faydell Van Horn, Aleese Benson, and Wanda Stracener DeBusk.

Thelma Inez Pool, of Claude, Texas, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026.

Cremation and arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors.

Thelma was born on June 18, 1932, in Ashtola, Texas, to George Robert and Reta Thelma (DeFries) Eddleman. She was one of six children and spent her entire life in the Claude community, where she built lasting friendships and devoted herself to her family.

On December 23, 1949, she married James “Jim” Conrad in Clovis, New Mexico. They shared many years together until Jim’s passing. Later, Thelma found love again and married Leo H. “Pete” Pool on July 30, 1982, in Colorado. Pete also preceded her in death.

A faithful woman, Inez was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Claude. She was known for her devotion to her family, her strong faith, and the kindness she showed to those around her throughout her life. Inez’s girls loved to tease her about the fact that she graduated from Goodnight High School as a salutatorian of her 2 member graduation class.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, James “Jim” Conrad and Leo H. “Pete” Pool; her brother, Alvin “Poodle” Eddleman; her sister, Dorothy Carr; her stepson, James E. Pool; and her granddaughter, April.

Oran Clinton Burton, 83, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2026.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, August 15, 2026, in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon.

Viewing/Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.

He was born on April 29, 1943, in Claude, Texas, to Norman and Lorene Burton. Oran was a man of unwavering work ethic, quiet strength, and a deep appreciation for the simple, meaningful things in life.

During the 1970s, Oran shared his knowledge and passion for agriculture as an agriculture teacher in Gruver, Texas, where he made a lasting impact on the young people he taught. He later continued serving his community as a dedicated Farm Bureau agent in Stinnett, Texas. Over the years, Gruver and Stinnett became cherished places he called home, where he built lasting friendships and countless treasured memories.

Oran was happiest when he was busy. He was a hardworking man who took great pride in working with his hands and creating things that would last. Whether he was in his shop shaping wood into something beautiful or spending time outdoors in the open air, he found satisfaction in an honest day's work. His craftsmanship was a reflection of his patience, skill, and pride, leaving behind a tangible legacy for those who loved him.

Essie Jean McCampbell, better known as Jean, was born on May 26, 1937, and passed away in her home on Thursday August 6, 2026.

Services will be 10:30 AM Saturday, August 15, 2026 in First Baptist Church in Clarendon. Burial will follow in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon.

Viewing will be held Friday at the funeral home.

Arrangements are under the care of Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.

Jean was the oldest of eight children and was raised with the strength, determination, and resilience that would come to define her throughout her life. She attended and graduated school in Clarendon, Texas, where she would go on to become a beloved member of the community.

Throughout her life, Jean worked hard to provide for herself and her family. She worked for Ruby Brumley as a cook for more than 20 years, in addition to holding several other jobs throughout her life. She was never afraid of hard work and believed in doing whatever was necessary to make ends meet and take care of the people she loved.

Jean was known for her loud, boisterous, and unmistakable presence. She commanded attention, spoke her mind, and never had much trouble letting you know exactly how she felt. Her honesty, toughness, and strong-willed nature were simply part of who she was. But behind that tough exterior was a woman whose love ran deep and whose family was the center of her world.
