When other moms tell me, ā€œYou must be so much more patient than I am because you homeschool,ā€ I always laugh a little inside.
The truth is, I’m not naturally more patient than anyone else.
I struggle. I get overwhelmed. I have moments where I want to quit, hide, or take the easier path just like everyone else.
The difference isn’t that I’m more patient—it’s that I’ve chosen to allow God to stretch me.
And stretching hurts.
As Christians, I think we often idolize comfort without realizing it. We want peace, joy, patience, and endurance, but we don’t want the circumstances that produce them.
Yet Christ never called us to comfort. He called us to pick up our cross daily, deny ourselves, and be conformed into His image.
Growth is rarely comfortable. Sanctification is often painful.
It’s much easier to avoid the hard conversations, the discipline, the consistency, the obedience, and the growth God is calling us into.
That’s one reason coaching is so powerful.
Sometimes you don’t need another parenting tip. You need someone standing beside you, reminding you that you can do hard things through Christ, helping you identify what’s holding you back, and equipping you with practical tools to move forward.
That’s what I do.
I’m your biggest cheerleader. I’ll encourage you when you want to quit, challenge you when you’re settling for less than God’s best, and equip you with tools to become the mother God is calling you to be.
The growth may be uncomfortable, but the fruit on the other side is worth it.

One of the biggest struggles for Christian parents today is finding ways to disciple our children without adding more screen time.
That’s why I was excited https://faithtag.com/?utm_source=instagram&utm_medium=profile&utm_term=faithtag&utm_content=link_in_bio&fbclid=PAZnRzaASrnXFleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZA8xMjQwMjQ1NzQyODc0MTQAAac5S7E1BrOU5H1SAsdZdydBK-8pFbNavZNLT5I7KC9XGRNO90cJZIVtxS6n8w_aem_Bx8d87fW9H5aNe5GvIXstgto try the FaithTagĀ® Bible Story Box!
It’s a screen-free Bible story player designed for children ages 3–12. With the press of a single button, children can listen to one of 40 Bible stories. Then they can print a matching coloring page, verse card, or learning activity to help reinforce what they just heard.
Some of my favorite features:
āœļø 40 Bible stories with one-button playback
šŸ–ļø Printable coloring pages, Scripture cards, and activities
šŸ“– Helps children learn and memorize God’s Word
šŸ“± Works without a phone (with even more resources available through the app)
ā¤ļø No screens. No ads. Just simple, faith-filled learning.
As a homeschooling mom, I love resources that make it easy to weave biblical truth into everyday life. Whether you’re using it for family devotions, quiet time, bedtime, or Sunday School, this is such a neat tool for helping children grow in their knowledge of God’s Word.

Me and my husband after realizing we’ll never have a midlife crisis because our entire life has been a crisis. šŸ˜‚
But seriously…
So many moms are living in survival mode.
One more load of laundry.
One more sibling squabble.
One more bill.
One more mess.
One more thing demanding your attention.
You keep telling yourself that life will calm down ā€œsomeday.ā€
When the children are older.
When the baby sleeps through the night.
When the finances improve.
When things finally slow down.
But what if they don’t?
The goal isn’t to wait for life to stop being hard.
The goal is to learn how to thrive in the middle of the chaos.
You don’t need a different life to experience peace.
You need the tools to manage the life God has already given you.
That’s exactly why I coach mothers.
I help overwhelmed moms stop living from crisis to crisis and start showing up with more confidence, peace, and purpose—even in the middle of real life.
Because joy isn’t found when the chaos disappears.
It’s found when you learn how to be present in it.

Having teenagers is hilarious. 🤣
Today I discovered that pretending to eat their little brother’s earwax is apparently where they draw the line.
All the things they’ve survived in this family…
The mud.
The animals.
The boys.
The homeschool science experiments.
But one fake bite of earwax and suddenly they’re questioning everything. šŸ˜‚
Motherhood may be exhausting, but moments like these make it so much fun.
Follow along for more large family chaos, homeschool adventures, and proof that embarrassing your children is one of the perks of parenting. šŸ˜†

One of the greatest gifts you can give your baby before they’re even born is a healthy, active mama.
Many women think exercise during pregnancy is only about controlling weight gain, but the benefits go far beyond that.
Research shows that regular exercise during pregnancy can improve placental function and blood flow, helping deliver oxygen and nutrients to your growing baby. Studies have also found that babies born to mothers who exercised during pregnancy may have healthier birth weights, improved heart health, and even enhanced neurological development.
And for mom? Exercise can help reduce pregnancy discomforts, improve sleep, support mental health, increase energy levels, and prepare your body for labor, delivery, and recovery.
Pregnancy is not an illness. For most women, movement is one of the best things we can do for ourselves and our babies.
I know firsthand that finding time to exercise while caring for children, homeschooling, running a household, and growing a baby can feel impossible. But it doesn’t have to be.
You don’t need hours in the gym. You need a realistic plan that works with your season of life.
šŸ’› If you’re pregnant and struggling to prioritize your health, I’d love to help. Through coaching, I help mothers create practical routines that support their health, their family, and the baby God has entrusted to them.

We’ve all heard, ā€œYou are what you eat.ā€ But it’s bigger than that.
You are what you listen to. You are what you watch. You are who you spend your time with. You are what you dwell on.
Everything you allow into your heart and mind is shaping you—either drawing you closer to God or pulling you further away.
If you’re constantly feeding yourself negativity, comparison, gossip, fear, or worldly messages, don’t be surprised when your heart feels heavy.
But when you fill your mind with God’s Word, worship, truth, and people who encourage your faith, it changes you from the inside out.
Be intentional about what you’re feeding your soul today.
ā€œAbove all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.ā€ — Proverbs 4:23
What are you feeding your mind today? šŸ’™

šŸ˜‚ One minute you’re cutting up an apple because that’s exactly how they wanted it…
…the next you’re trying to tape it back together because they changed their mind. šŸŽšŸ˜‚
Motherhood can feel like you’re constantly trying to keep up with changing demands. And while these moments are funny (eventually šŸ˜…), they can also leave us exhausted, frustrated, and wondering why we’ve lost our joy.
God never called us to make our children happy every second of the day. He called us to faithfully lead them. Our job is to lovingly teach gratitude, responsibility, self-control, and a servant’s heart—not raise little people who expect the world to revolve around them.
When we parent God’s way instead of reacting to every whine or demand, our homes become more peaceful, and we can begin to experience the joy He intended for motherhood.
If that’s something you want to grow in, I’d love to help.

Unstoppable or Unstable?
If we’re being honest, most homeschooling moms can feel both… sometimes within the same hour.
One minute you’re confidently teaching math, managing the household, and checking things off your list.
The next minute you’re overwhelmed, overstimulated, questioning everything, and wondering if you’re doing enough.
The difference between staying unstoppable and spiraling into unstable isn’t having a perfect day.
It’s learning how to manage your mind.
God’s Word tells us to take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). It reminds us to dwell on what is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8). And it calls us to cultivate grateful hearts, even in the middle of ordinary motherhood.
The thoughts you repeat become the beliefs you live from.
That’s why coaching is so powerful.
I help moms identify the thoughts keeping them stuck, replace lies with truth, develop practical tools for emotional regulation, and create rhythms that allow them to be present instead of constantly overwhelmed.
You don’t need a different family.
You don’t need more hours in the day.
You don’t need to wait until life slows down.
You need the tools to lead yourself well in the season God has called you to.
✨ If you’re tired of feeling like you’re constantly one bad moment away from losing it, let’s talk.

Nobody warns you that one of the perks of date night after 14 years of marriage is having absolutely no shame. šŸ˜‚
The children were safely at VBS.
My husband and I enjoyed all-you-can-eat shrimp at Red Lobster.
Then we drove home…
Let’s just say the shrimp scampi made one final appearance when we entered our driveway. The children’s faces.... worth every single shrimp. šŸ¤£šŸ’€
Marriage is built on love, grace… and occasionally surviving your spouse’s gas. šŸ˜…
