For more than 50 years, Medicare has limited chiropractic coverage to spinal manipulation—even though chiropractors are licensed to provide a broader range of services in their states. The Chiropractic Medicare Coverage Modernization Act (H.R. 539 / S. 106) would update Medicare coverage to better reflect today's chiropractic practice while respecting each state's existing scope of practice.
