One of the things I love most about this work is that it continues to bring me into spaces I never imagined.
I’m so grateful to Electric City Aquarium and Reptile Den for inviting me to offer musical enrichment to some of their incredible animals. Standing just a few feet away from such an intelligent, curious creature and sharing sound in that moment was something I’ll never forget.
Birds have some of the most complex vocal communication systems in the natural world. They use sound to connect, to warn, to comfort, to establish territory, and to attract a mate. Their songs aren’t random. They’re purposeful.
It makes me wonder what would change if we listened a little more closely… not just to music, but to the world around us.
One of the reasons I love sound therapy is because it invites us to do exactly that. To slow down. To become present. To remember that we’re part of nature, not separate from it.
Thank you again for trusting me with such a unique experience. 🤍
