We are excited to share that KBAT Executive Director Julie Adcock will be presenting at the 2026 Council of Autism Service Providers (CASP) Leadership Summit this September in San Diego!

The CASP Leadership Summit brings together leaders in autism services from across the country, with members of the CASP Board of Directors sharing their experiences, perspectives, and lessons learned in leadership.

Julie will present:
Leading Through Growth: Mentorship, Adaptability, & Sustainable Leadership

Her presentation will explore something that has been central to KBAT's growth over the years—the idea that strong leadership isn't simply about managing an organization. It's about developing people, adapting through challenges, learning from mistakes, mentoring future leaders, and building a culture that can grow and thrive over time.

We're proud that the experiences and lessons learned through more than 15 years of growing KBAT will be part of a larger conversation about leadership and the future of autism services.

Celebrating 15 Years of KBAT

We celebrated a milestone that means more to me than I can put into words.

As I looked around the room, I couldn't help but reflect on the journey that brought us here. Fifteen years ago, KBAT began with a simple mission—to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. While that mission has never changed, what has always made KBAT special is the people.

Over the past 15 years, many incredible individuals have been part of the KBAT team. Some were with us for a short season, while others for many years. No matter how long they were part of our journey, each person helped shape the organization we are today.

Every child served, every family supported, every challenge overcome, every breakthrough celebrated, and every success achieved happened because someone chose to invest their time, talent, and heart into this mission.

One of the most meaningful moments of the evening was recognizing our 2026 KBAT Superlative Award winners. While these awards honored a few individuals who exemplify our values of Kindness, Brilliance, Accountability, and Teamwork, they also represent the culture that every past and present member of KBAT has helped create.

To everyone who has been part of our story—thank you. Your fingerprints are on this organization, and your impact continues to be reflected in the lives of the children and families we serve every single day.

Here's to the first 15 years... and to the next chapter of changing lives together.

A heartfelt thank you to Strawberry Alley Ale Works for hosting our celebration. The venue was wonderful, the food was fantastic, and your staff went above and beyond to make the evening special. We truly appreciate your hospitality.

A special thank you as well to Jun Espinosa for providing an amazing soundtrack for the evening, Cain Adcock for serving as our Superlative Awards MC (and ending the night with a few songs of his own!), and Mobilephotoz Photography for beautifully capturing memories we'll cherish for years to come.

Giving back is one of our favorite things to do! 💙

This past weekend, several of our amazing KBAT team members volunteered in the Sensory Tent at the Clarksville Downtown Market, helping create a welcoming, calming space for children and families who needed a break from the excitement.

We are so proud of our staff for sharing their time, compassion, and expertise to support our community beyond the walls of our clinic. Thank you to everyone who stopped by the tent—we loved being a small part of your day!

Kaleidoscope Behavior Analysis & Therapy is proud to celebrate our Executive Director, Julie Adcock, participation in the 10-Year Anniversary Conference hosted by the Council of Autism Service Providers (CASP) 🎉

As part of this milestone event, it was a true privilege to be invited to attend the Founders Gala—an evening honoring the visionaries whose leadership and dedication helped shape the foundation of autism services as we know them today.

Throughout the conference, Julie had the opportunity to connect with and learn from incredible leaders across the field—individuals who are not only advancing ideas, but actively doing the work to improve outcomes for individuals and families.

She also had the honor of presenting alongside the CASP Benchmarking Committee, contributing to meaningful conversations around data-driven decision-making and elevating standards across our industry. In addition, she presented individually on preventing burnout as a small business owner—an important topic for sustaining high-quality, values-driven care.

As a newer CASP board member, she reflects with deep gratitude for those who have come before—recognizing that we stand on the shoulders of giants whose efforts continue to guide and inspire the future of our field.

KBAT is excited for the continued progress, innovation, and advocacy that CASP will bring in the years ahead—and we are honored to be part of that journey.
