🎉 Back to School Bash is coming! 🎉

We’re excited to celebrate the new school year with our MTW kiddos! ✨ Join us for a fun-filled day with our LEGO Land Bounce House & Water Slides Combo on August 5th & 6th! 🏰💦

For Speech/Feeding/OT kiddos: Water clothes, sunscreen applied, a towel, and change of clothes for after to enjoy the fun! This will be held during your child’s regular appointment time 😊

For ABA kiddos: Please remember to send your child with the items listed below so they can stay comfortable, safe, and ready for all the fun throughout the day!

We can’t wait to make some amazing memories together! 💜

We couldn’t agree more !! ❤️

Just so we're clear - both children and adults with disabilities DESERVE ( and maybe more importantly - have the right) to go out and live their life to the fullest!

Just because someone has a disability, doesn't mean that they shouldn't:
- go to restaurants
- go to movie theaters
- go to museums
- go to libraries
- go to grocery stores
- go wherever the heck they want to go!

Does this mean that you may encounter someone acting differently than what is "expected"?
- Yea, sometimes it does!

Does this mean that accommodations may need to be made?
-Yes, sometimes it does!

Does this mean that sometimes, parents may be stressed and look like they are not doing a good job raising their child?
-Yea, sometimes. (But I promise, we're doing the best we can! And most of the time, they are too given the situation.)

But they have the right as anyone else.

So if you see something you don't understand, ask questions in kindness. Or simply don't say anything at all.

P.S. Community Integration is important for all children. It teaches toddlers, children, and even adults how to be an active participant in their community. It teaches them how they can be a part of their community, builds relationships and teaches social skills so that they don't live their lives in isolation.
