"Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the courage, sacrifice, and service that followed.

For many of the veterans, service members, and military families served by Cohen Clinics, and for those on our teams, this day is deeply personal. As we reflect on its lasting impact 25 years later, we remain committed to ensuring military and veteran families can access high-quality mental health care and support when they need it."

- Anthony Hassan, Ed.D, President and CEO, Cohen Veterans Network

move an average of 3 times more than their peers—making goodbyes and new beginnings a big part of life. While military families are especially adept at overcoming obstacles to move forward with the mission, listening to your child’s worries during these transitions, without rushing to fix them, helps them feel understood.

Meet Nicole Copple, Melissa Frost, and Dawn Luxmore, members of our team who provide Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).

PCIT is a short-term, evidence-based program designed to support families with young children experiencing behavioral and emotional challenges. Through live coaching, caregivers learn practical skills to strengthen their relationship with their child, encourage positive behaviors, manage challenging behaviors, and reduce parenting stress.

PCIT is most effective for children ages 2½ to 6 and does not require a previous mental health diagnosis.

We’re proud of Nicole, Melissa, and Dawn for helping families build stronger connections and feel more confident navigating the challenges of parenting.
