A notice for family and friends about our livestreaming

Within the recent years, livestreaming has become a popular and more convenient way for friends and family to virtually connect to extend support and condolences when unable to physically attend a service. Here are a few things that we would like our community to know about our livestreams.

-Connection issues-
We strive to establish a secure connection for each live service we stream for the families that we serve. If we run into any technical issues during the service, please be advised that our team will work to ensure that the service is still recorded and able to be viewed in a timely manner. In some cases, this may mean that a joinable livestream will stop, and our staff will switch to recording the service and uploading the prerecorded video after the service.

-No sound/unable to hear livestream-
There are times when audio feed may cut out of livestreamed services due to copyright details regarding music selections played during services. Audio should return to normal after music is played and the livestream will resume. If there is no audio for a service entirely, please leave a comment on the livestream feed to let our media team know that you are unable to hear or give our office a call and we will work diligently to resolve the issue.

We feel that it is important for our community to know that it is ultimately each individual family’s decision on whether or not a service for their loved one is to be livestreamed. While livestreaming is a service that we offer to everyone, it is not available for every service due to it being optional.

The families that choose to have their loved one’s service available to be viewed online appreciate every comment, kind word, and all of the love and support sent during their time of grief!
