Does it ever feel like you are so busy that you’re just trying to get through each day?

Sometimes busyness distracts us from making real connection with others and being present in life.

Are you spending so much time planning and preparing that you’re forgetting to actually live?

Pause.

Breathe.

Notice the moments that truly matter.

Make time for the people you love.

Do the things that bring you joy.

Find the right balance that works for you so you can live a more fulfilling life.

You can care deeply for others without constantly putting your own needs last.

Taking time to rest, recharge, set boundaries, and care for yourself isn’t selfish. It’s necessary for a healthy, balanced life.

You deserve the same compassion and care that you so freely give to everyone else.

You don’t have to choose between helping others and taking care of yourself. You can do both. ✨

I can effectively regulate my nervous system, which is something I wish I had learned before I experienced burnout as a physical therapist.

Understanding how to interrupt survival mode would have changed not only how I worked back then but also how I cared for myself in general.

Now I realize that nervous system regulation isn’t just about reducing stress; it’s about creating calm for clearer thinking, better decision-making, greater resilience, improved health, and a more fulfilling life.

I wish this was something everyone learned. Imagine if nervous system regulation was considered as foundational as nutrition, exercise, and sleep within our healthcare system.

Breathwork has become my favorite tool. It is easy to do with practice and can be performed almost anywhere.

If you would like to learn more about nervous system regulation and how it can improve your life, I would love to help.

I designed this pottery at Pottery Camp while spending time with some wonderful local female entrepreneurs a week ago. I created this simple yet meaningful design and picked it up yesterday.

To God be the glory for whatever good I do! He is the source of my hope, joy, and peace! 🙌

I love being creative and doing art! It is fun and relaxing! I also enjoyed seeing the pieces the other group members designed and the colors they picked. It was a great bonding activity!

I also took a photo showing the only other pottery I decorated at Pottery Camp in March of 2016. It is still a special piece in my home.

Do any of you enjoy doing arts and crafts as a hobby?

Back on the pickleball court! 🏓

Thurman and I met two new pickleball friends. We learned a new game called Cutthroat when playing with three players. It was so much fun!

Pickleball players are so friendly and love meeting new people to play with.

It was a great start to our Saturday! 😁

Have a great weekend everyone!

High employee turnover has consequences that extend beyond hiring costs. It affects both employee well-being and organizational performance.

Impact on employee well-being and performance includes:

• Remaining employees absorb the responsibilities of those who leave, leading to increased workload and higher stress.

• Chronic overwork then contributes to exhaustion, decreased motivation, and potentially burnout.

• Ongoing work stress can contribute to fatigue, sleep disturbances, anxiety, headaches, and other stress-related symptoms.

Impact on the Company:

• Vacant positions and inexperienced replacements often slow projects and reduce efficiency resulting in decreased productivity.

• Staff turnover can disrupt service quality and client relationships.

• The organization’s reputation can suffer, which makes it more difficult to attract qualified candidates.

This is why organizations need to create healthier work cultures. Promoting sustainable workloads, encouraging healthy work-life boundaries, and developing supportive managers can improve employee well-being while reducing costly turnover.

As an entrepreneur, I have been building relationships in person and online.

Every conversation is a chance to learn, grow, encourage others, and share my work.

I’m grateful for this season of growth and excited to see where these connections lead. One relationship at a time, I’m building a business with purpose and a mission to help women create healthier, more balanced lives.

I’m showing up, staying curious, and continuing to grow! 😁
