If back or neck pain is keeping you from doing the things you enjoy, non-surgical spinal decompression with the DRX9000® may be worth considering.

• Non-invasive
• No injections

Tired of pain relief that never seems to last?

When you’ve been dealing with chronic neck or low-back pain, temporary relief can be frustrating. At Carolina Spine & Disc Center, our goal isn’t simply to help you feel better for a few hours — we want to address the underlying problem and work toward long-term improvement.

Our DRX9000® Spinal Decompression treatment uses controlled, non-surgical decompression to gently reduce pressure on the spine. For appropriate patients, this may help:

🔹 Reduce pressure on irritated spinal discs and nerves
🔹 Improve the environment for healing and recovery
🔹 Decrease radiating pain, numbness, or tingling
🔹 Improve mobility and everyday function
🔹 Provide relief that can continue beyond the treatment period

Spinal decompression may be an option for people struggling with conditions such as herniated or bulging discs, sciatica, degenerative disc problems, and certain types of chronic neck or low-back pain.

The difference? We’re not interested in simply chasing symptoms. Our goal is to help you make meaningful progress that lasts.

If back or neck pain keeps coming back despite everything you’ve tried, it may be time to take a different approach.

Many patients report benefits such as:
✅ Reduced muscle tension

✅ Decreased pain and soreness
✅ Faster recovery from injuries
✅ Better movement and function

Whether you’re dealing with neck pain, back pain, shoulder issues, headaches, sciatica, or sports-related injuries, Dry Needling may be an effective part of your treatment plan.

At Carolina Spine & Disc Center, we combine Dry Needling with targeted rehabilitation and corrective exercises to help address the root cause of your pain—not just the symptoms.

✨ MEET THE TEAM ✨

Say hello to our provider and owner, Dr. Tyler Smith!

Dr. Smith’s journey into physical therapy started from a very personal place. After experiencing a serious back injury, he spent months in physical therapy himself. During that time, he saw firsthand the impact that dedicated therapists can have—not just on recovery, but on people’s lives. Watching his own progress (and others around him) is what inspired him to pursue a career helping patients get back to doing what they love.

His passion? Helping you move better, feel stronger, and live pain-free 💪

🎲 Fun Fact: His favorite place to vacation is Las Vegas!

We’re so lucky to have a provider who truly understands the patient experience from both sides 🙌
