Almost 10 years ago, this girl walked across the stage and became Dr. Erin. 🎓🤍
If I could go back and tell her what the next decade would hold, I don’t think she’d believe me.
I’d tell her that chiropractic would take her places she never imagined. That she’d have the privilege of caring for incredible people, horses, dogs, and cats. That I’d get to travel to ranches, barns, veterinary clinics, and communities I never knew I’d be a part of.
I’d tell her that every case would teach me something new. That some of the most challenging patients would become some of my greatest teachers. That I’d never stop learning.
I’d tell her about the countless hours of continuing education, traveling all over the country to learn from some of the best minds in both human and animal chiropractic. Every seminar, certification, and mentor has made me a better doctor for every patient I have the privilege of caring for.
Most of all, I’d tell her to soak it all in.
This career has been so much more than a job. It’s given me purpose, lifelong friendships, unforgettable experiences, and the opportunity to help people and their animals live healthier, happier lives. From helping someone get back to doing what they love, to helping a performance horse compete comfortably again, to seeing dogs and cats regain their mobility, every day reminds me why I chose this profession.
Looking back, my heart is full of gratitude. Thank you to every patient, horse owner, pet owner, veterinarian, family member, friend, and mentor who has trusted me over the years. You have all been part of this incredible journey, and I truly wouldn’t be the doctor I am today without you.
Here’s to the next 10 years of learning, growing, serving, and making a difference 🌱
