We had a wonderful time earlier this week with our friends Allison and Naomi from EmpowerMe Wellness, our onsite therapy team! Residents enjoyed getting creative with fruit and vegetable painting and testing their knowledge with a fun game of Fruit & Veggie Bingo.
We are so grateful to have EmpowerMe Wellness providing physical, occupational, and speech therapy right here at CCC five days a week. Their dedication goes beyond therapy sessions, as they regularly partner with our LifeStages program to bring engaging, purposeful, and enjoyable activities to our residents.
Thank you, Allison and Naomi, for another fun-filled afternoon and for all you do to support the health, wellness, and happiness of our residents! 🍎🎨🥕💚

Wednesday mornings are for walking! ☀️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️
With beautiful weather and sunshine on our side, our residents enjoyed a refreshing morning walk. Regular exercise is so important for seniors, helping to improve strength, balance, mobility, heart health, and overall well-being. Most importantly, it’s a wonderful way to enjoy the outdoors, visit with friends, and start the day with a smile!
Fresh air, good company, and healthy habits made for a perfect morning at CCC. 💙

🎹🎶 A heartfelt thank you to our new friend, David Shaffer, for spending the evening with us and sharing his musical talents! Residents enjoyed listening to him play the piano and sing along to familiar favorites.
We are so grateful for the many individuals who volunteer their time and reach out to our community to share their gifts with us. Music has a wonderful way of bringing people together, lifting spirits, and creating special memories.
Thank you, David, for a wonderful evening of music and fellowship. We hope to see you again soon! ❤️🎵

🍦️ Beautiful sunny Saturdays are made for ice cream! ☀️🍦
Our residents enjoyed an afternoon outing to Sherwood's Creamery, where they soaked up the sunshine, shared great conversation, and treated themselves to some delicious ice cream. There's nothing quite like a sweet treat on a beautiful summer day!
Smiles were plentiful, the weather was perfect, and wonderful memories were made with friends. ❤️🍨🌞

🌺🌴 Our Luau fun continued this week at CCC with a festive Hawaiian-themed lunch and an afternoon packed with island-inspired activities!
Residents had a blast playing Granny Pants: Beach Ball Edition, trying their luck in our Coconut Left Right game for prizes, and cooling off with delicious homemade Piña Colada slushies. We wrapped up the afternoon by testing our knowledge with some fun Hawaiian trivia.
There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and tropical vibes as we celebrated together. Aloha to another wonderful day at CCC! 🌺🍍🌴☀️🥥🍹

Today, we gathered in remembrance, reflection, and love during our Memorial Butterfly Release. 🦋
A heartfelt thank you to 365 Hospice for joining us and helping make this special event so meaningful. We are grateful for the beautiful prayer and support they provided as we honored the lives and memories of residents who will forever hold a place in our hearts.
