For those that missed our Hurricane Preparedness Seminar last Friday, the City of Dunedin's 2026 will have their Hurricane Preparedness Expo that will be held Thursday, June 25, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at City Hall. The event will bring together local, county and state experts to share information on hurricane preparedness, emergency management, flood mitigation, debris collection, resiliency planning and more.
Local meteorologist Greg Dee of ABC Action News has been announced as the guest speaker for the event. Dee is an Emmy Award-winning meteorologist for Tampa Bay 28 (WFTS-TV), where he has delivered forecasts and covered severe weather in the Tampa Bay area for the past decade. The event is free and open to the public. The expo portion of the evening will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., followed by speakers from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Prefilled sandbags will be available to attendees on a first-come, first-served basis.
