Does the JFORCE make your leg significantly hotter?
I hear this question all the time, so instead of guessing, I decided to measure it.
I placed temperature probes directly against the patient’s skin and waited 15 minutes and then compared:
• Bare skin
• Under the JFORCE
• Under a regular sock
My results:
• Bare skin: 94°F
• JFORCE: 95.1°F (+1.4°F)
• Sock: 96.9°F (+2.7°F)
In my test, the JFORCE increased skin temperature by just 1.4°F, while a regular sock almost 3°F
This isn’t a formal scientific study—just a real-world test to answer a question I get asked all the time. Thank you.
