One of the greatest honors of my life is serving families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Midwifery is not a typical career. It is a 24/7 calling that requires being available day and night, weekends, holidays, and often putting my own plans aside to care for others.
To continue providing safe, attentive, and sustainable care, it is important that I occasionally take off my midwife hat, rest, and spend time with my family.
I will be away from the office until June 26.
While I am away, I will have my phone with me and remain available for urgent needs from current patients. Communication will be limited to phone calls, and response times for non-urgent matters may be delayed.
Thank you for supporting a model of care that allows midwives to continue serving families for many years to come. Your understanding and respect for these boundaries help make that possible.
I look forward to returning refreshed and ready to continue caring for you.
With gratitude,
Midwife Cheryl
