Missed our first round of sports physicals? We’ve got you covered!

We’re bringing Purposeful Pediatrics back to the Warriors field for a second wave of sports physicals for:
✅ Athletes who were unable to complete their physicals during our first event.
✅ Any athlete who still needs a sports physical for the upcoming season.

This event is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! You do NOT have to be a Warrior athlete to participate. If your child needs a sports physical for football, cheer, girls flag football, school sports, or any other youth sport, come see us!

☀️ Health Tip Tuesday: Protect Little Skin This UV Safety Month! ☀️

Did you know a child’s skin is more sensitive to the sun than an adult’s?
Just one severe sunburn during childhood can increase the risk of skin damage later in life.

🕶️ Keep your child sun-safe with these simple tips:

✅ Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) 15-30 minutes before heading outside.

✅ Reapply every 2 hours—and after swimming or sweating.

✅ Dress children in lightweight clothing, wide-brim hats, and UV-protective sunglasses.

✅ Seek shade or when possible, stay inside especially between 10 AM and 4 PM when UV rays are strongest.

✅ Don’t forget easy-to-miss areas like ears, noses, lips, tops of feet, and the back of the neck.

👶 Babies younger than 6 months should be kept out of direct sunlight whenever possible.

Remember: Sun protection isn’t just for beach days! UV rays can affect children during sports, playground time, summer camps, and everyday outdoor activities.

🌞 A little prevention today helps protect their skin for years to come.
