Congratulations to Maggie, Morgan, and Fatima for graduating from LSC's first Xtreme Leadership class!

LSC’s 2026 Xtreme Leadership Program is designed to equip new supervisors with a strong foundation in leadership—blending philosophy, practical day-to-day techniques, and meaningful connections through leadership open forum calls. The program included four interactive sessions that supported leaders as they grow into their roles.

The first session took place in March at Trinity Oaks Retirement Community and featured keynote speaker Mark Gogal, Vice President of Workforce Development for the North Carolina Health Care Facilities Association (NCHCFA), who spoke on servant leadership, building strong teams, effective communication rooted in LSC’s Core Values, and performance management.

The second session was held at the LSC Administrative Office and was led by Vice President of Teammate Services Mary Beth Lemly. That session included a refresher on SharePoint and a comprehensive look at PayCom. Teammates also played a communication game with Legos.

Graduates received a certificate and an Xtreme Leadership pin to put on their LSC lanyard.
