We had a wonderful time attending the Dementia Seminar at The Church at South Lake, where we had the opportunity to connect with families, caregivers, and community members while sharing the services and support we offer for seniors living with dementia and memory-related conditions.

Our goal was to provide education, resources, and a welcoming space for meaningful conversations about dementia care and the importance of maintaining quality of life for those affected by cognitive changes.

To make our booth interactive, we brought a game of co****le! Co****le isn't just fun—it promotes hand-eye coordination, motor skills, social engagement, concentration, and cognitive stimulation. Activities like these demonstrate how purposeful recreation can support overall well-being while creating opportunities for connection and joy.

At Madison, some of the most meaningful programs are the ones inspired and led by our residents themselves. Today, Charlotte, one of our most talented residents spent time creating this unique blanket—an activity she enjoys independently and with purpose.

Resident-driven activities help foster a sense of accomplishment, independence, and personal identity while supporting emotional well-being and cognitive engagement. By encouraging our residents to continue pursuing their passions and hobbies, we create opportunities for joy, connection, and a true sense of home.

Today our residents put their minds and teamwork skills to the test with a life-size game of Tetris! Activities like this do more than create laughter and friendly competition — they help support cognitive health by encouraging problem-solving, memory recall, hand-eye coordination, and strategic thinking.

Emotionally, games like these help build confidence, reduce stress, encourage social connection, and create joyful moments that bring everyone together. 💜

💐☕ Mother’s Day High Tea at Madison at Clermont ☕💐

What an absolutely beautiful and heartwarming afternoon we shared at our Mother’s Day High Tea! ✨ Our community came together to celebrate the incredible mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures who have touched so many lives with love and grace.
Residents and guests enjoyed a delightful afternoon filled with delicious pastries 🍰, elegant tea ☕, beautiful music 🎶, laughter, and meaningful togetherness. The room was overflowing with smiles as stories were shared, cherished memories were revisited, and heartfelt original poetry dedicated to mothers was recited with love. ❤️
It was truly a day filled with joy, connection, and appreciation — the perfect way to honor the amazing women who mean so much to all of us. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event so special and unforgettable! 🌸
