This week at FCC Preschool, our classrooms were full of creativity, friendship, hands on learning, and lots of opportunities to grow! 💙

Some of our VPK classes continued celebrating Heritage Month, learning more about different cultures, traditions, and the special backgrounds that make each family unique.

Letter learning was woven into all kinds of fun activities this week. H was for hibernation, H was for houses, and other classrooms explored their letters through colorful crafts, tracing, matching, and fine motor practice.

Our preschoolers also enjoyed making puppets, working together on group art projects, and using scissors, glue, crayons, and other materials to strengthen those important little hand muscles.

And of course, there was plenty of time for friendship and play, with lots of smiles, laughter, and fun together outside. Another joyful week of learning through play at FCC Preschool!

This week at FCC Preschool, our classrooms were filled with learning, movement, creativity, faith, and plenty of fun! 💗

Our preschoolers wore pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Day, while classrooms continued exploring all kinds of hands on learning. Some children learned about how germs spread through a fun science experiment, while others practiced letter recognition, fine motor skills, and early writing.

Family Heritage projects continued as our children learned more about the people and cultures that make their families special. Bible lessons came to life too, including some very enthusiastic “stone throwing” as the children learned about David and Goliath!

There was also plenty of active play this week, from outdoor fun to trips to Sky Zone, giving our little ones lots of opportunities to move, climb, jump, and build confidence.

And some classrooms even got their hands in the dirt, planting radishes and learning how tiny seeds can grow into something new. 🌱

This week at FCC Preschool, our classrooms were filled with faith, family, learning, creativity, and plenty of hands on fun! 💙
Some of our preschoolers explored the letter E with “E is for Earth,” learning about God’s creation and the beautiful world He made. Other classes focused on the letter F through so many meaningful activities. F was for family as children talked about the people they love, created family portraits, and completed their Family Heritage projects. F was also for fish with story time and crafts, and for feathers as little hands created their own feather filled letter F.
Our youngest learners enjoyed digging for hidden treasure in a sandy sensory bin, while everyone had opportunities to build fine motor skills, create, explore, and learn through play.
One of the sweetest moments of the week was chapel time, where our children praised the Lord together through song, including the classic “This Little Light of Mine.” ✨
And this week was extra special as we celebrated Ms. Brigitte and her incredible 20 years at FCC Preschool. Two decades of loving, teaching, encouraging, and pouring into generations of children and families is truly something worth celebrating!

🎉💙 20 YEARS OF LOVING, LEADING, AND SERVING AT FCC PRESCHOOL! 💛🎉
Today we have the incredible privilege of celebrating Ms. Brigitte and 20 amazing years at FCC Preschool! As our longest standing preschool staff member, she has been a steady, loving presence through countless school years, classrooms, families, friendships, and little lives.
If you know Ms. Brigitte, you know the warmth she brings with her. She has a way of making children feel safe, families feel welcomed, and fellow staff members feel supported. Her calm spirit, gentle heart, faithfulness, and consistency have made her an irreplaceable part of our FCC Preschool family. We truly would not be the same without her.
Over the past 20 years, hundreds of families in our community have trusted Ms. Brigitte with some of the most important years of their children's lives. What an incredible legacy that is.
Early childhood is about so much more than learning letters, numbers, colors, and shapes. These are the years when children are learning how to love others, how to show kindness, how to be patient, how to make peace, how to practice self control, and what faithfulness and gentleness look like in everyday life.
The children who have passed through Ms. Brigitte's classroom may not remember every lesson or activity, but the seeds planted through years of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control can remain with them long after they leave preschool. 💛
Ms. Brigitte, thank you for showing up year after year with a heart ready to teach, guide, encourage, comfort, pray, laugh, and love. Thank you for the trust you have built within our community and for the countless lives you have touched along the way.
Twenty years is an extraordinary milestone, and your legacy at FCC Preschool is even more extraordinary. We are eternally grateful for your commitment to our children and families, and so incredibly blessed to have you as part of our team.

Extra! Extra! 🦁📰 The first edition of the Little Lenny Monthly is here!

September was packed with curious little minds, creative masterpieces, playground adventures, lots of learning, and plenty of fun along the way. From everyday classroom moments to a WILD Jungle Wednesday, our little learners gave us plenty of big news to share! 💛

We love getting to watch these little minds and hearts learn, explore, create, and grow in God’s love each day.

That’s a wrap on September at FCC Preschool! We can’t wait to see what October brings. 🍂

This week at FCC Preschool, our classrooms were full of learning, creativity, big smiles, and a little jungle adventure! 🐾
Our preschoolers practiced number recognition, fine motor skills, emergent reading, and letter learning—including a very sweet “D is for donut” craft! They also explored through sensory play, colorful art, cutting, coloring, and plenty of hands-on activities.
Jungle Wednesday brought even more fun as our little explorers dressed up like safari animals and adventurers for a wild day!
From focused learning to silly faces, friendships, outdoor play, and lots of laughter, it was another fun-filled week at FCC Preschool. 💙
