The semicolon means the story isn’t over.
For Su***de Awareness Month, let this little symbol be a reminder that sometimes choosing to stay takes incredible strength.
A semicolon represents a sentence the writer could have ended—but chose not to.
If you’re struggling, feeling hopeless, or wondering if things can ever get better, please don’t carry it alone. Talk to someone you trust, reach out to a mental health professional, or call/text 988 for the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.
And if you know someone who has been struggling, check in. You don’t need the perfect words. Sometimes, simply saying “I’m here. You matter. I’m glad you’re here.” can mean more than you realize.
💛 Your story is still being written.
