This past week we had the pleasure of being showcased on Spectrum news for their everyday hero's segment! Here at Medicore, we dedicate our lives to helping others reach their full potential. To do that effectively, we know there is only one way. Teamwork. This is why we want to give a huge thank you to those who partner with us in order to do better. July is Disability Pride Month, a time to recognize people with disabilities, their contributions and the importance of inclusion and accessibility.

BIG thank you to Planet Fitness for collaborating with us on this entirely ADA friendly, accessible gym located in our Cleveland day program. We strive to provide the most well rounded, welcoming environment we can, and though our work is not done, this space has been a game changer. Please watch this short clip from our highlight in the "Local Heros" segment for Spectrum News 1 Ohio where our participant, Julian Robinson, talks about how much this space means to him!

We are so thrilled and honored to showcase our services for disability pride month. We are so proud of every one of our individuals that have been growing, developing, and exploring right along side of us. It has been such a joy working with Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities, Spectrum Spectrum News 1 Ohio, WKYC Channel 3 - Cleveland, and Planet Fitness, showcasing the shining faces and limitless opportunities of our people. We look forward to serving each and every day WITH disability pride because we truly are proud of who we are, and the work we do each day. Here at Medicore, we truly move with our hearts.

It is here! Please take a look at our article posted yesterday for Disability Pride Month. We are incredibly honored to use our voice to emphasize how important this month is, and to showcase the work we do each and every day to highlight our participants abilities.

Medicore Transport & Achievement Centers built a gym with equipment usable only by people with disabilities. VP Mike Lea says the timing couldn't be better.

Spring has sprung, and we are taking full advantage of that here at Medicore! The other day, our folks over at our Parma location took a trip to the Cleveland Aquarium. From the most colorful shrimp to the biggest sharks, we saw it all!
