Hey everyone! 💚

I’m sorry I haven’t posted a recent update yet. We are coming up on almost a year on the transplant list, and I was told that 15 people in total have gone through the testing process! 🤯

That is absolutely AMAZING! 💚
I currently have one anonymous person being evaluated, and we are hoping and praying that this person is the one. 🥹🫶🙏

We are still asking people to consider becoming a living liver donor for me until then. 💚💚💚

For those who don’t know, I am a 31-year-old mom and wife who suffers from liver failure due to a rare autoimmune liver disease called Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC).

This disease is hereditary in my family and causes scarring and inflammation inside the bile ducts within the liver. The bile ducts can become blocked, leading to infections and a multitude of problems and complications.

In my case, I suffer from chronic bacterial infections systemically, so I am on prophylactic antibiotics indefinitely until I receive a liver transplant. The infections and cirrhosis are progressing at a slow rate, but we know it is only a matter of time.

Hey guys! UPDATE! 💚💚💚

First, thank you all so much for the support, prayers, and words of encouragement. 💚💚💚
Second, as far as donors go, I know another person is going to Cleveland to be evaluated in the next couple of weeks! 🥳🫶🎉
Third, my health is still chronically stable, but my liver function and inflammation are continuing to trend upward. The medications I take daily are keeping me from being hospitalized, which is a blessing, but it’s also hard because we know that without the antibiotics, the inevitable would come much faster.
We WILL stay strong as we continue the search for a living donor!!!! I will continue to be monitored closely, as usual, with monthly labs by my transplant team! 💚

Lastly, I want to thank all of the people who have taken the time to get tested, call, or even just ask questions about becoming a donor! A lot of the people who reached out were carrying their own burdens but still wanted to help lighten mine. 🫂🫂🫂
This has been one of the most difficult things I have ever had to power through mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. But knowing there are so many good, wonderful, loving people out there who care means more than I could ever put into words. 🥹✨️💪
If it weren’t for all of you—my friends, family, and everyone who has supported me—I wouldn’t have been able to get back up on the days when I fell apart.

Hello everyone! Hope everybody is enjoying their summer☀️ We are still waiting to hear the most recent update from Cleveland Clinic about potential donors getting tested. Theres a bunch of people lined up as back up for testing so please be patient as they sift through candidates 💚💚💚 I am overjoyed and in just awe that so many have signed up and are still reaching out! Thank you all🫶 I will send as many people as I can to be applicants until they tell me to stop😅🫂🤗

I know theyre testing people but Cleveland Clinic is very need to know basis on status of donors. In mean time we are just going to keep moving along taking it one day at a time💚
