Michael D. Ronig, age 53, passed away on August 7, 2026.
Born on December 28, 1972, in Elkton, MD, Michael was the son of Patricia (McElvenny) Harmon and Michael R. Ronig. He was a 1991 graduate of Bohemian Manor High School in Chesapeake City, MD and a longtime HVAC Technician.
A resident of Delaware County, Michael loved his country and was a true patriot. He served two tours of active duty in the United States Marines. Serving in Somalia and the Persian Gulf, Michael received several medals and commendations.
Michael was an avid fisherman, hunter, enjoyed camping and truly loved the outdoors. He was a great cook, enjoyed concerts and heavy metal music. Michael had a great sense of humor, could fix anything. He was a baseball card collector and a Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan. Above all else, Michael's greatest happiness came from the time he spent with his family whom he loved with all his heart.
Michael will be remembered for his kindness, unwavering devotion to his country, his family, and the many friendships he had throughout his life. His legacy of patriotism and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his Stepfather, Donald Harmon.
