Acupuncture is used to support patients in major cancer centers like Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. It’s commonly used for pain, nausea, neuropathy, fatigue, and sleep or anxiety issues. In hospital settings, treatments may be done twice a day for a few days to manage acute symptoms. In outpatient care, it’s typically once or twice per week, with progress reassessed after several visits. The goal is simple: support the body through the process.

The National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) is now the National Certification Board of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (NCBAHM).

This update reflects modern terminology and a clearer emphasis on both acupuncture and herbal medicine.

I remain nationally board certified and licensed in New York.

Top hospitals around the world use acupuncture to assist in cancer treatments for things like: nausea, pain, fatigue, insomnia and strengthening the immune system. It's nice to see we finally have some recognition in the USA!

I used to hear from MD.'s 25 years ago that they will believe in acupuncture when they see the research. Well, there was plenty of research back then but MD's didn't know anything about it. Since then acupuncture has been approved by Medicare, the VA, hospice, many hospitals and most insurance companies; BECAUSE IT WORKS!!!
