Immediately after earning a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 2016, Dr. Tonkin relocated to the Capital Region and completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in Albany, N.Y.. She then joined the 1st Advantage Dental Niskayuna team, where she practiced general and cosmetic dentistry prior to her current role at Advanced Dentistry of Clifton Park. Dr. Tonkin is a member of the American Dental Association, The New York State Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. A native of West Virginia, Dr. Tonkin is a proud alum of Marshall University and WVU and is an active alumni member of the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. She lives in Niskayuna with her husband Zach and toddler son Carter.
