The Clinton Community enjoyed a memorable tour of the beautiful Thornwell campus recently, taking in the sights and sharing stories as they explored the grounds. One of the highlights of the day was watching a beloved former Thornwell staff member reconnect with familiar faces and places that hold so many cherished memories. Known by many as a true legend on campus, Gwen Warner’s return brought joy, laughter, and heartfelt conversations shared throughout the tour. It was a wonderful reminder of the lasting impact that one person can have on a community. Thank you to Thornwell and to everyone who made this outing so special.

During the month of June, the Clinton Community will be highlighting some of our fathers and father-figures. This week, we would like to highlight one of our residents, Roy Beckham. Roy is a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is a WWII veteran and served as a pastor for 40 years. He preached until he was 85, taught Sunday School until he was 90, and led a women’s circle until he was 94. At 99 years young, he says he has had a blessed life and he encourages us all to give thanks to the Lord. As his daughter says, “Roy is an easy man to love.”

Clinton Community residents enjoyed fresh air, beautiful scenery, and wonderful company during a nature outing to Camp Fellowship this week. They were able to see familiar faces, hear more about the history and ministry of Camp Fellowship, and take time to just enjoy the beauty around us. We want to give a huge thank you to Camp Fellowship and Kevin Cartee for making us feel so welcomed during our visit!

For the month of May, we celebrated the incredible work of our healthcare heroes. We recognized the dedication, skill, and heart that they bring to our residents every day. Please help us in thanking these outstanding team members for all that they do for our community.

As a member of the healthcare team, the Clinton Community recognizes Dana Cauble as the May employee of the month. Director of Nursing Jennifer Bolt states, “Dana is our healthcare Clinical Support Coordinator. She has been a valued member of our team for over 3 years.
