We had a very special visitor at The Wholistic Paws today! ❤️🐾

As part of his world tour adventures, Luke Tailwagger is spending this month in his Nonna and Pop Pop’s hometown of Clinton, NC—and we were lucky enough to be one of his stops!

Luke stopped in with a signed copy of his book, Tiny Paws, Big World: The Adventures of Mighty Luke Tailwagger, along with the sweetest personal dedication. It was such a thoughtful surprise and a joy hearing a little about his journey along the way.

Of course, he couldn’t leave without trying one of our Pawcuterie Cups! Made with wholesome, real ingredients and lots of love, they’re the perfect way for pups to enjoy a little bit of everything—and Luke gave them two paws up! 🥕🫐🐶

We’re also excited to share that you’ll soon be able to order Luke’s book right here at The Wholistic Paws! 📚🐾

So grateful to be part of such a warm community event hosted by Meredith Richardson Locklear, with the chance to connect with so many local vendors and support fellow small businesses along the way.

Today was one of those moments that just felt meant to happen. ✨🐾

We had the pleasure of welcoming author Niki Cioffi to The Wholistic Paws along with her sweet Chihuahua, Luke Tailwagger— the adorable protagonist behind Tiny Paws, Big World. It was so special getting a glimpse into her book and talking about a possible future collaboration together. 💛

What made it even more meaningful was hearing how she and her mom created the book as a team — with her mom bringing the story to life through the illustrations. It instantly reminded me of my own journey working side by side with my mom Jenny Velez every day. Those family-built dreams really do hit differently. 🥹

And then… as if the universe wanted to make the moment even sweeter, a client walked in during their visit with a long-haired Chihuahua named… Luke. 🐕✨ What are the odds?!
