There is no better way to spend an afternoon than with a little creativity and a fun mental challenge! Our residents at The Oasis of Clio had a wonderful time gathering today for crafts and puzzles. ☀️✨

The room was filled with laughter and great teamwork as neighbors helped neighbors find that perfect missing puzzle piece!

🍦 Ice Cream Socials!: Cool off and catch up with friends! We’re hosting Ice Cream Socials on Thursday (Main) and Friday (Memory Care) at 1:30 PM.

🎨 Creative Expression: Let your inner artist shine with Crafting in the Afternoon on Tuesday and Flower Painting on Wednesday.

🎰 Game On!: From BINGO! and Trivia! to Board Games! and Pencil Puzzles!, there are plenty of ways to challenge your mind and have a blast.

🧘 Wellness & Movement: We start our days strong with Light Stretching and Exercise and fun activities like Balloon Toss.

✨ Memory Care Special Moments: Our Memory Care residents have a week full of sensory engagement, including Nails, Sensory Building Blocks, and a relaxing Spa Day on Sunday.

🌸Mother’s Day at The Oasis of Clio!! 🌸

There is no love quite like a mother’s, and this Mother’s Day, our hearts were truly full at The Oasis of Clio. We spent a beautiful day honoring the incredible women who have nurtured, guided, and inspired us throughout our lives.

It was a day filled with soft smiles, warm hugs, and the kind of laughter that only family and dear friends can bring. Looking around the room, it was impossible not to feel the profound impact these wonderful ladies have made on our community and beyond.

✨ Moments to Cherish:

💐 Blooms of Love: Our residents were surrounded by the beauty of spring flowers, mirroring the vibrant spirits of the mothers we celebrate.

🍰 Sweet Celebrations: We shared delicious treats and stories, savoring the time spent together in our cozy Clio home.

🧘 Morning Movement: Get your day started right with Morning Exercise! held at 10:30 AM nearly every day this week.

🎨 Spring Creativity: Join us on Monday for a Spring Butterfly Craft or help us beautify our home with Flower Planting on Thursday afternoon!

🎲 Game On!: We have a full roster of favorites, including Corn Hole, Dominos, BINGO!, Dice Trivia, and Ring Toss!

🏒 High Energy Fun: Don't miss out on Ball Hockey! this Wednesday at 3:30 PM.

🍿 Movie Night: Wind down on Friday evening with a Movie and Popcorn! starting at 5:00 PM.

🏆 Noodle Hockey Fever at The Oasis of Clio! 🏆

Who knew a little "competition" could be this much fun? Our residents at The Oasis of Clio took to the "ice" (our activity room!) for an epic round of Noodle Hockey!

We traded traditional sticks for colorful foam noodles and used giant rubber balls to see who could score the most goals. The energy was electric, and the laughter was even louder!

✨ Highlights from the Match:

⚡ Fast-Paced Fun: Noodle Hockey is a fantastic way to improve hand-eye coordination and get a great cardio workout while sitting or standing!

🏒 Soft Sticks, Big Hits: Our foam noodles made for safe, high-energy play that kept everyone on their toes.

🤝 Team Spirit: From cheering on teammates to friendly rivalries, the social connection was the real MVP of the day.

🏆 Dimensions of Wellness: Staying active is a core part of life at The Oasis, and we love finding creative ways to keep our residents moving.

It was a "goal-den" afternoon for everyone involved!
