Today we’re showing some love to Jori, our wonderful Patient Care Coordinator at Mountain Laurel Physical Therapy!

Jori plays such an important role in helping our clinic run smoothly. From helping patients over the phone to keeping up with the many behind-the-scenes details that come through each day, she handles a lot with patience, kindness, and a calm presence. She helps make our patients feel cared for from the very first interaction, and she is such a valued part of our team.

Outside of work, Jori enjoys spending time with friends, listening to music, and going to concerts.

Our beloved Sadie, doing what she does best.

Sadie’s care and compassion for her patients are what set her apart. She genuinely listens, empathizes, and brings a wealth of knowledge to every interaction. She is always looking for ways to grow and improve as a physical therapist, frequently sharing insights from the latest research she has been reading.

We are blessed to work alongside her, and her patients are fortunate to have her guiding them away from a life of pain, dizziness, and discomfort and toward greater confidence, improved mobility, and healing.

Why the goggles? 👀

When someone comes in with dizziness, imbalance, lightheadedness, or headaches, the first step is always listening to their story. When did it start? What makes it worse? Does it happen when you roll over, look up, turn quickly, walk through a busy store, or spend time on screens?

Then we look deeper.

The eyes and inner ear are closely connected, and subtle eye movements can give us important clues about what may be contributing to symptoms. Vestibular First goggles help us observe and record those eye movements more clearly, especially when we are assessing for vestibular conditions that can be hard to see with the naked eye.

That information helps us create a more specific plan instead of guessing.
For some patients, that may mean treating vertigo. For others, it may mean working on balance, visual motion sensitivity, neck-related dizziness, headache triggers, or how the brain and body are processing movement.

At Mountain Laurel Physical Therapy, we use tools like these because dizziness deserves a thorough evaluation — and you deserve answers, clarity, and a plan built around you.

Katherine brings a thoughtful, steady, and compassionate presence to Mountain Laurel Physical Therapy. She has a gift for helping patients feel heard, understood, and supported — especially when they are dealing with dizziness, vertigo, headaches, neck pain, balance issues, or orthopedic concerns that are impacting daily life.

Katherine is trained in vestibular rehabilitation through Bridgett Wallace and continues to grow her expertise in treating the whole person — not just the symptoms. She is passionate about helping patients understand what is going on, feel more confident in their bodies, and get back to the activities they love.

Dry needling with electrical stimulation can be a powerful tool in physical therapy to help reduce muscle tension, improve mobility, decrease pain, and support better muscle activation.
