We celebrated the start of the Iowa State Fair with a week full of state fair festivities. Residents and staff enjoyed a week of fair inspired food, exhibits, games, and fun! We wrapped up the week by revealing the lucky winner of our Pie in the Face Fundraiser! 🎟️🌽🥧

This month, our Legacy Court is starting their “Thursday Throwback” series. Each Thursday, residents can enjoy a movie from the past in our movie theater. Last week’s movie was The Flying Deuces! 🍿🎥

As the month comes to an end, we want to highlight a few of our recent activities:

🚶Last Friday, the weather was BEAUTIFUL. Our residents enjoyed the weather with an outdoor walk.

🎉 We celebrated our July birthdays at our monthly birthday party.

🎄 Christmas in July! Residents crafted their very own ornaments.

🍺 We had a “paint and sip” with delicious root beer floats.
