This special group gives breastfeeding moms a welcoming space to walk, connect, share experiences, and support one another during this important chapter of motherhood. Because moms deserve a village too!

💙 Blue Zones Project is partnering with WIC to bring Walking Moais to WIC members. Walking Moais help strengthen support systems, positively impact well-being while helping build lasting friendships!
Join us at your local WIC office during the 2026 WIC National Breastfeeding Month Celebration this August to learn how you can get involved and take the first step toward a healthier lifestyle. We can’t wait to walk with you! 💙

What an incredible way to celebrate the end of summer with our community! Rancho 51, St Johns Community Health, Desert Recreation District and Blue Zones Project Coachella welcomed over 780 community members for a day packed with fun, wellness, movement, and connection!
From water slides, foam parties, and water activities to yoga, meditation, and our exciting dunk tank, there was something for everyone — kids, teens, adults, parents, and grandparents!
Our community also enjoyed 40+ amazing vendors, free Blue Zones-inspired food and samples, aguas frescas, and fresh fruits and vegetables generously provided by Hidden Harvest and FIND Food Bank. We were also excited to provide free backpacks, clothing, and community resources to help families get ready for the new school year.
A huge thank you to our incredible partners, volunteers, vendors, and everyone who came out to celebrate with us. Events like this show what happens when a community comes together — we move, we connect, we have fun, and we make wellness accessible to everyone!

What started as a walking group has grown into something so much more — friendship, laughter, connection, and a community that looks forward to seeing each other every week!
We celebrated our amazing senior Walking MOAI with delicious food from , including items from our Blue Zones-inspired menu, and of course, a fun game of Blue Zones Lotería!
It was a beautiful day to slow down, enjoy some great food, laugh together, and celebrate the friendships we’ve built along the way. This is what community and belonging are all about!
Thank you to everyone who continues to walk, talk, laugh, and grow together. We can’t wait for our next MOAI adventure!
