Meet the face behind Aspen Counseling Services LLC, Demetria Bales.

Hello everyone! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/ therapist, licensed in Wyoming and Oregon. I've worked between the two states for the last 13 years. I have 13 years of mental health experience working in various roles: case management (youth rehabilitation and adult residential co-occurring diagnosis), wrap around facilitator, child protective services, emergency room mental health assessments/placements, and therapist.

As a therapist I am very easy going and down to earth. I try to make those I work with feel as at ease as I can. I understand therapy can be a scary step and am here to walk through that journey with my clients. I strive for my clients to feel heard and validated. During the therapy process change is elicited by challenging thinking patterns and behaviors. I try to approach challenging my clients in a way that they feel supported and cared for while exploring change.
I use a variety of therapeutic interventions, including experiential services as well (art therapy, equine therapy, etc.).

I work with those 6 years to late adulthood. For telehealth services 8 years of age and up.

I offer telehealth services for Oregon clients due to being located primarily in Wyoming.
I offer in person and telehealth for Wyoming clients. I also offer in home appointments determined on a case by case basis.
