You’re Not Alone And You’re Definitely Not the Only One Wondering.

Let’s talk about the things that can feel a little uncomfortable to bring up at your OB-GYN appointment. The truth is… your provider has heard it all! And those questions you may feel shy asking are often some of the most important conversations to have.

Being open and honest about your health helps your provider better understand what’s going on and find the right support or solutions for you.

Here are 5 things you should never feel embarrassed to mention:

-Unusual vaginal odor, discharge, or itching
-Pain during in*******se or ongoing pelvic discomfort
-Bladder leaks or changes in bladder control
-Changes in your menstrual cycle, even small ones
-Questions or concerns about your sexual health or low libido

These conversations are private, judgment-free, and can often lead to answers, reassurance, and treatment options that help you feel your best.

At Health Care For Women, we’re here to listen, answer your questions, and make sure you feel comfortable and supported at every visit. Your health matters and no question is too awkward, too small, or too embarrassing to ask.

Sometimes the hardest part is simply starting the conversation. And we’re here when you’re ready, call us at (208)765-1455.

Birth control is about more than preventing pregnancy. It can also be an important part of managing your overall reproductive health.

Depending on your individual needs, certain birth control options may help:
• Support family planning goals
• Make periods lighter or more predictable
• Reduce menstrual cramping
• Help manage symptoms of conditions like endometriosis

Your annual wellness exam is the perfect time to ask questions, discuss any changes in your health, and explore the birth control options that best fit your lifestyle and goals.

At Health Care for Women, we're here to provide personalized care and help you make informed decisions about your health.

Ready to schedule your wellness exam? Call us at (208)765-1455 to make an appointment. We're here for you every step of the way.

September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month

This month, Health Care for Women is helping raise awareness about ovarian cancer and the importance of listening to your body.

Ovarian cancer often develops with subtle symptoms that can be easy to overlook, including persistent bloating, pelvic or abdominal pain, difficulty eating, or frequent urination. Knowing the signs and talking with your provider if something feels different can make a difference.

While there is no routine screening test for ovarian cancer for most women, regular wellness visits and open conversations with your provider are an important part of staying proactive about your health.

Our team is here to provide compassionate, comprehensive care through every stage of life.

Schedule your wellness visit today by calling (208) 765-1455.
