Chicks n Chaps CDA is almost here, bringing a day of western-themed fun, fundraising and fierce support back to Nashville North, all in support of local women battling breast cancer.

Every dollar raised goes directly to women in our community, helping with everyday living expenses like groceries, gas, rent, utilities and more so they can focus on what matters most, their health and healing.

Kootenai Health is proud to continue supporting Chicks n Chaps and the incredible difference they make right here in our community. 💙

Over the weekend, members of the Kootenai Clinic Family Medicine Residency team volunteered to provide First Aid coverage at the Hayden Lake Marathon! 🏃‍♂️

Our team was there to help support runners throughout the event and provide care when needed along the beautiful Hayden Lake course.

We’re grateful for opportunities to support the health and well-being of our community outside the walls of the clinic. Congratulations to everyone who participated! 💙

A Day in the Life at Kootenai Health | Physical Therapy

Our “A Day in the Life” series continues, highlighting exceptional team members across Kootenai Health and the care they provide every day.

In this episode, meet Brooke Bemis, a physical therapist specializing in sports and orthopedics. Brooke knows firsthand how the right care can help an athlete get back to doing what they love. After struggling with repeated ankle injuries throughout her own soccer career, the support of her physical therapist and athletic trainer helped her return for her senior season and ultimately inspired the career she has today.

Follow Brooke for a day as she works one-on-one with patients, shares her approach to physical therapy and helps build Kootenai Health’s growing sports therapy program For Brooke, helping people get back to the activities they love isn’t just part of the job. It’s what inspired her to become a physical therapist in the first place.
