**When does forgetfulness become something more?**

Everyone forgets things occasionally. What matters most is noticing **patterns or changes from a person’s usual abilities.**

Some early warning signs may include:
• Asking the same questions repeatedly
• Difficulty with familiar tasks
• Getting confused in familiar places
• Trouble managing money or medications
• Difficulty finding common words
• Changes in judgment or personality

💡 **A helpful tip:**
If you're concerned, keep a simple note on your phone of the changes you notice—**what happened, when it happened, and whether it has happened before.** This can make it easier to recognize patterns and give a healthcare provider useful information.

And remember: **one forgetful moment doesn't define someone.** Focus on patterns, offer patience, and continue including your loved one in conversations and decisions.

Recognizing changes early can provide more time to find answers, explore support, and plan for the future. 💜
