Radishes are amazing. 🫜 Sprouts in five days even when the soil dries out a day or so, and will be ready to eat in about three more weeks! I know what you’re thinking: “yeah, but nobody likes to eat them.” Well, many people don’t like them raw, myself included, but have you tried roasted radishes?

Are you interested in meeting any of our other named chickens besides DoorDash?

This is Killer, one of our younger buff Orpingtons. She loves mice and chipmunks like I love chocolate and coconut. Killer is a very desirable hen in the eyes of our rooster Albus. She loves staying up late, wandering far and wide, and she is the first to get in my way when I’m trying to collect eggs.

Nothings hits the spot like a really good pot roast. It’s not a last minute dinner idea, but if you plan ahead appropriately you’ll have 3-4 hours before dinner time to relax and set the table. After taking this pic I did push the herbs down into the braising broth. Served with sides of garlic rosemary mashed potatoes, gravy (made from the pot roast juice) and roasted Brussels Sprouts. 10/10 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
