Millview of Latham has provided quality assisted living for over 35 years in an intimate community. Millview offers respite and long-term care for individuals with a variety of physical, social or cognitive needs while encouraging socialization at all of their community events! They also host their Social Adult Day Program, in which individuals can spend the day engaged, supported, and cared for.

Residents had a great time decorating picture frames, painting plant pots, and making jewelry. Activities like this help keep hands moving and minds engaged, but most importantly, they give everyone a chance to get creative!

Meet Tara! ✨

TJ’s passion for serving others has been clear from the very beginning. From earning her CNA license while still in high school to caring for patients in a rehabilitation center, her journey has always been rooted in compassion.

She went on to serve our country in the United States Air Force, specializing in nuclear security, an impressive and demanding role that speaks to her strength, discipline, and dedication. During her service, she also earned her degree from the Community College of the Air Force.

Since joining Millview at Latham in Fall 2023, TJ has made a meaningful impact—first in Activities, and now as our Director of Admissions and Employee Relations. Her leadership, warmth, and commitment to both residents and team members truly set her apart.

When she’s not at Millview, TJ enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time back home in Kansas with family and friends.

Millview residents came together for a Memorial Day service to learn more about why we celebrate Memorial Day and reflect on its meaning. Following the service, residents enjoyed a luncheon featuring delicious food, conversation, and a festive American flag cake.
