To you, it’s a delicious Thanksgiving dessert. To our seniors, it represents choice, purpose, and a voice. 🥧✨
This holiday pie fundraiser was entirely thought up and planned by the Resident Council at Apple Rehab Colchester. For our residents, organizing this project gives them a wonderful sense of purpose and a way to actively shape their own community. Every dollar raised goes directly back to them, empowering them to fund the celebrations and comfort items that bring true happiness to this chapter of their lives.
They poured their hearts into organizing this, and your support means the absolute world to them. As the residents themselves shared: "Your kindness fills our hearts with joy, honors our choices, and truly makes this facility feel like home."- Resident Council

Talk about a masterpiece afternoon! 🎨 yesterday was all about good vibes, great conversations, and a whole lot of artistic fun. Our residents did an absolutely spectacular job bringing their pumpkins to life with color and style. Seeing the pride on their faces and the pure joy in the room was the absolute best part of the day. We are so incredibly proud of our creative and talented community!
