Grief is hard. Supporting your children when they are grieving the loss too is even harder. Show them it’s ok and normal to be sad. Model that emotions are natural. Talk about them. Honor their memories. Share stories, keep them alive in your hearts through conversations, laughters and tears. Protecting your children from experiencing grief is not protecting them at all. It just isolates them in their grief.

Spent the day in 5th grade presenting for career day and it was so fulfilling in so many ways.

Mamas who work, be proud of what you do and show it off. Your kids are watching and learning from you. I know it's hard to leave them, to find appropriate care, to balance your time, to get everything in...but don't forget to let them know what you do and why you do it 💜 and be proud of yourself cause it is not easy

Sometimes change can be hard and being uncomfortable can be, well, uncomfortable. My practice made a move to a different location, in a different town with a different vibe recently. And although there was a lot of back and forth externally and internally I told myself what I tell my clients-- it's ok to fear the unknown and to reach just a little out of your comfort zone. That's where the real growth happens. Here's to new beginings ☺
