In honor of Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month, activities like these are about much more than the game itself. They create opportunities for connection, conversation, familiarity, and moments of success for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and other memory related conditions.

Every May, the Administration for Community Living Living (ACL) observes , a time to recognize the contributions of older adults and celebrate healthy, independent living.

This year’s theme, , highlights prevention, wellness, and taking an active role in your own health through informed choices and everyday habits that support well-being. Patricia dedicated many years of her life as a school teacher in the Colchester Elementary School system, shaping young minds and making a lasting impact on her community. Her commitment to education and her students reflects the same strength, patience, and care she continues to bring today.

We are grateful to celebrate her story and the many contributions she has made throughout her life.
