Good Samaritan Care Center has had an amazing month! We recognized our dedicated nurses during National Nurse's Week, celebrated Mother's day and National Skilled Nursing Home Week with wonderful meals and activities. We had our first memorial bike show and our 5th Annual Butterfly Memorial in honor our loved ones lost in the last year.
This week we also had our annual state survey. Our staff did what they do every single day, and that is to provide exceptional care to our residents. Despite all of these events happening our staff never lost focus. When you do the right things even when no one is watching, it's easy to see why our survey went so well 😊 Congratulations to all staff at Good Samaritan on another outstanding survey!

Special thanks to the Cole Camp public school first graders for coming to visit us one last time before the school year ended. We had the best time listening to them sing songs and they brought us a flower craft to do with them. You brought us so much joy this year!

Last night we held our 5th Annual Memorial Butterfly Release. Special thanks to our American Legion Color Guard, Fred Kennedy and Pastor Shawn Davis for helping us to make this such a special event.

The Chris Carr Memorial Bike Show was a success!! Thank you to everyone who came and especially to the Guardians of the Children bikers. Chris was smiling down on us all for sure ❤️ 🪽.

Our train pulled into the final stop today in New York City! 🗽

Started off the day by making graffiti art 🎨

Lunch was New York style pizza, garlic knots, garden salad, and New York style cheesecake! Yum 😋

This afternoon we viewed a Broadway musical, Oklahoma!
