🎳 Strike Up Some Fun at Home and Comfort! 🎳

Our residents had a wonderful time today enjoying a friendly game of bowling! There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and a little healthy competition as everyone took their turn aiming for a strike.

Activities like bowling help keep our residents active, engaged, and connected while creating special memories together. It’s not always about the score—it’s about the friendships, fun, and joy shared along the way.

We are so grateful for these moments that bring our Home and Comfort family together. ❤️

“When I think of Home and Comfort as my workplace for the past 15+ years, what stands out most is the compassion we have for our residents. I have had the privilege of caring for so many wonderful people throughout the years and have lost some very special ones along the way. I will continue to cherish each resident, as they truly become like family to me.

Another reason Home and Comfort means so much to me is my coworkers. We always come together to support one another, and that sense of teamwork is something special. I also want to give a heartfelt thank you to our nurses and to our boss, who goes above and beyond for all of us every day.
I wouldn’t have wanted to spend these years anywhere else. Home and Comfort is more than a workplace—it’s my home, my comfort, and my place.

“Why did I choose Home and Comfort? Since I was old enough to know better I have had a dream of being someone that people can count on specifically those who no longer have the ability to care for themselves as much as they used to. My favorite part of being employed at home and comfort is the friendships I’ve built with the residents, all the staff and the management team. We are there always lending a helping hand to each other to make sure our residents know they are cared for, and feel safe in their home. The smiles and laughter I am able to give the residents every time I walk through the doors for my shift is truly a blessing. It is such an honor to be apart of such an amazing work place! “I chose to work at Home & Comfort because of the hardworking and caring staff. From the beginning, I noticed how close everyone is and how much they truly care about the residents and one another. I love how management cares so much for both the employees and the residents. Another thing I love about Home & Comfort is how the facility is smaller because it allows staff and residents to build stronger connections with each other. The atmosphere of home and comfort doesn’t feel like work, it feels like a home where I am caring for amazing residents. Our management team doesn’t only go above and beyond, but they work with each of us employees and residents to try their best to make sure we are all happy. “The reason why I love working at Home and Comfort so much is because back in 2000 my grandma started to create this facility and fully established it by 2001. Her goal was to create a place that felt more like a home and to provide comfort to those in need. Throughout those years many of my family members have worked there and even at one point I got to work side by side with my mom. I guess you would say this place has always felt like a second home to me.
Now being able to watch my amazing aunt working endlessly to keep that dream alive makes me so proud. That’s the reason on why I joined housekeeping is to help keep and maintain the beautiful building my family has built through the years and to also help give a feeling of comfort to the residents with a nice clean home. “ Rieley.
