Two months ago, Legacy Veterinary Hospital opened its doors with a simple goal: care for pets, support families, and become a trusted part of this community.

In just 60 days, we’ve welcomed hundreds of pets, shared countless tail wags, celebrated victories, comforted worried families, and built friendships that mean the world to us.

Every appointment, every kind word, every recommendation, and every pet that walks through our doors is something we never take for granted.

🐾 Meet Maple Donut Sprinkles! 🐾

Today, sweet Maple, a young Golden Retriever puppy, visited Legacy Veterinary Hospital for her very first appointment and spay consultation. 💙

One of our goals with every new puppy and kitten is to make veterinary visits a positive experience from day one. Instead of fear, stress, and restraint, we focus on positive reinforcement, patience, and creating trust.

While Maple happily enjoyed peanut butter, our team was able to collect bloodwork and perform necessary testing with little to no restraint. The result? A calm puppy, a less stressful experience, and a family that left knowing their girl was cared for with kindness.

Experiences like these help build confidence in our young patients and can make future veterinary visits easier and less stressful for years to come.

We are proud to practice low-stress handling techniques and fear-free principles whenever possible because veterinary care shouldn’t have to be scary.

Great job today, Maple! We can’t wait to watch you grow. ❤️🐶
